INDW vs AUSW

INDW vs AUSW: After an uplifting “Super Over” victory, the Indian women are feeling confident and will try to keep it going against Australia in the third T20I on Wednesday by improving their fielding and bowling. The cricket caravan travels to the storied Brabourne Stadium in the southern part of the “Maximum City,” where another belter of a track awaits the two teams, after the first two matches at the packed D Y Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Thousands of people came to watch match

The game on Sunday, which drew a crowd of more than 47,000 people, ended up being the ideal advert for women’s cricket. India, who  have often gone suicidal  from winning positions against Australia, was finally able to come out on top of the game. The five-match series is tied at 1-1, but the illustrious victory is now in the past, as batting coach (acting head coach) Hrishikesh Kanitkar pointed out in an emotional speech following the game.

Indian batters did their jobs well

India has always had the capacity to consistently compete with teams like Australia, but they must take the small steps necessary to match their rivals’ remarkable consistency. Although the Indian batters did their jobs well, the bowling and fielding in the first two games were far from stellar. Only two wickets have been taken by the hosts so far in the series, which is a serious concern. The catching has also been fairly poor. With Meghna Singh leaking runs and rookie left-am pacer Anjali Sarvani failing to produce early breakthroughs, the pace department doesn’t offer much hope.
