Since the inception of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2008, Chennai Super Kings have been the most consistent team of the tournament. The team has won the trophy three times since the start of IPL, they also reached the finals eight times. The team of Chennai Super Kings under the captaincy of former India World Champion Mahendra Singh Dhoni has always been the havoc team for the rivals.
In this 13th season of the league, all eyes will be on Dhoni, who retired from the international cricket last month. Dhoni will land on the cricket field after more than a year.
