Royal Challengers spinner Yuzvendra Chahal stated that he is pumped up for the second phase of the Indian Premier League 2021 season in the United Arab Emirates. The season will resume on Sunday with the first match between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings.
“Obviously, the feeling was good. The heat was okay, I am happy with the way I bowled. I am pumped up, we are in a good position in the points table and we have a very good chance to stay at the top of the table,” said Chahal in a video posted on RCB’s official Youtube channel.
Yuzvendra Chahal was not included in Indian squad for T20 World in Oman and Dubai even after he is India’s leading wicket-taker in the format.
Virat Kohli-led RCB is currently at the third spot in the Points Table with five wins and ten points in seven matches. They will marcg against Kolkata Knight riders on September 20 when the season will resume in the UAE.
