IPL 2023: India's former captain, MS Dhoni is all geared up for the new IPL season. He recently took the internet by storm by recreating his famous six from the 2011 World Cup final during a practice session in the net. Netizens were thrilled to see their favourite captain playing again, and the video of him doing it became very popular on social media. Today also marks the 12th anniversary of India's Second World Cup Victory.

MSD hits unbelievable six

Back on April 2, 2011, the Indian cricket team won the World Cup for the second time in 28 years. They defeated Sri Lanka in a really exciting final match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, with MS Dhoni as their captain. This match is still remembered by Indian cricket fans because it was Dhoni's amazing six that sealed the victory for India.

Over the weekend, the Chennai Super Kings team released a video of their skipper MS Dhoni, in which he recreated his legendary six from the 2011 World Cup final during a practice session for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) match. The team also posted photographs from the World Cup match in Mumbai, evoking fond memories for cricket enthusiasts. The video and the message "When nostalgia hits!" reflect the Indian cricket team's admiration and affection for their World Cup-winning captain.
