IPL 2024: Chennai Super Kings made a light work of Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday when they defeated them by 76 runs. And who can say that it was not because of the heartfelt request by the queen of Chennai, Sakshi Dhoni herself?
During the match, Sakshi requested CSK to finish the match early and the reason will melt your heart. She posted an Instagram story that sent the Internet on a spiral as fans started wondering different things.
Apparently, Sakshi is on the verge of becoming an aunt and that is why she wanted the match to be finished early. So, she could leave the venue and be with her niece as she needed her support. Few fans misinterpreted the messages and even thought that MS Dhoni was going to become a father for the second time.
Baby Is On The Way
During the match, Sakshi took to Instagram and posted a story stating ‘Please finish the game fast today @chennaiIPL. Baby is on the way… Contractions have begun. Request from – to be Bua.’
Sakshi was attending the match with her friends and she was having the time of her life. And when the first lady of Chennai’s empire asks for something, Chennai always delivers. CSK finished the match in the 19th over itself so that Sakshi could leave the venue early.
A Dominating Win In IPL 2024
CSK defeated Hyderabad by 76 runs and have once again entered inside the Top 4 standings. Chennai is currently in 3rd position and if they continue on this track they might be able to finish inside the Top 2 as well.
The battle of qualification has picked up pace as 5 teams are on 10 points and only Rajasthan have secured qualification so far. Other than that all three positions are up for grabs. The match between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders will also be for the second spot.
