IPL 2024 KKR Vs DC: In a thrilling encounter, Kolkata defeated Delhi to succumb to their second position. It was an all-out showcase by the KKR team that annihilated the DC batting lineup to secure a very comfortable victory.
Harshit Rana was one of the best bowlers of the match as he picked 2 wickets to become the top wicket-taker for KKR in IPL 2024. But what stole the spotlight was not his bowling but his hilarious wicket celebration.
Harshit Rana was previously fined heavily after doing his flying kiss celebration against Mayank Yadav. A similar thing was about to happen once again but Rana stopped himself and the clip went viral on social media.
Half Kiss Celerration
The moment arrived in the seventh over when Harshit dismissed Abhishek Porel. Porel was outclassing Rana before the wicket-taking delivery and was looking in good touch. But it was the bowler who had the last laugh.
A full-length delivery by Rana outsmarted Porel completely and rattled his stump. While Porel was walking back to the pavilion, Rana started doing his ‘flying kiss’ celebration but suddenly remembered the hefty fine he had to face the last time.
He pulled back his hand at the last moment and settled with a normal goodbye wave as a celebration. It was a great show of character by Rana as he restrained himself despite being filled with an adrenaline rush.
IPL 2024 KKR Vs DC: One-Sided Thrashing
KKR defeated DC by 7 wickets and remained firmly in the second spot. Delhi was visiting Kolkata with revenge in their mind for the defeat earlier in the season but failed in their attempt. While batting first, Capitals were only able to score 153 runs with Kuldeep Yadav being their highest scorer. In reply, Knight Riders chased down the target in the 17th over with 7 wickets remaining.
