IPL 2024 KKR vs SRH Final: It took a very long time, but finally Kolkata have a very good Indian pacer they can look forward to. Harshit Rana has been a revelation this season and he is flourishing with every match.
An aggressive bowler who can bowl at any stage of the game and can take wickets. He is one of the contenders for the Purple Cap in IPL 2024 even after getting banned for a match.
Apart from one incident that got him banned, it has been a perfect season for him. He has taken every setback as a learning curve and has been the best pacer for KKR even in tough times.
Harshit On Fire
It has been a sensational season for Harshit. This has also been his best season in terms of his bowling and stats. He has taken 19 wickets in 13 matches with an economy of 9.04. This economy might look high, but this is a season where every bowler was getting hit out of the park in the first half.
Once again, Harshit was on fire against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the finals of IPL 2024. He took 2 wickets in his 4 overs with an economy of just 6. Yes, this is his performance in the final of the tournament.
Actually, every KKR bowler has bowled brilliantly this IPL. 6 bowlers from Kolkata camp have taken 10 or more wickets. This is how a team shows their dominance. Varun Chakravarthy, Harshit Rana, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Mitchell Starc, and Vaibhav Arora have touched the double-figure mark with their bowling.
IPL 2024 KKR vs SRH Final: A Record To Forget
While batting first, SRH was only able to score 113 runs, which is the lowest score by any team in the IPL final. Previously, Chennai Super Kings held the record for the lowest total in the IPL final when they scored only 125/9 against Mumbai Indians in 2013.
