IPL 2024 RCB Vs CSK: Bangalore has done the unthinkable. It might be the biggest comeback in IPL ever. From almost getting knocked out of the tournament to qualifying for the playoffs, it has been an amazing ride for every RCB player and supporter.
Bangalore ended the month of April with only a 1% chance of qualifying for the playoffs this season. But in just 19 days they have completely changed the course of the whole tournament and are looking dangerous.
RCB won their sixth consecutive game to knock CSK out of the race and book their spot in the top 4. It was a thrilling match where anything could have happened. A last over that will be remembered for ages.
IPL 2024 RCB Vs CSK: Thrilling Finale
With 17 runs needed in the last over for qualification, skipper Faf Du Plessis gave the ball to Yash Dayal. MS Dhoni hit the first delivery for a massive six of 110 meters and the equation completely changed in just one delivery.
But the match took a massive turn again on the next delivery when Dayal got the wicket of MS Dhoni. The whole ground erupted and then one run in the next two deliveries made it almost impossible for CSK.
With 10 runs needed in 2 deliveries, Jadeja came on strike. It was similar to last year’s finals where Jadeja pulled a stunner from the same position. But this time Dayal bowled two dot balls to make sure Bangalore reached the playoffs.
The Four Finalists
With this win, the four finalists of IPL 2024 have been decided. Bangalore became the final team to qualify for the playoffs. The only remaining question is which team between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will finish in the top 2.
