IPL Viral Video: RCB's opening duo of Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis is one of the most dangerous opening duos in the IPL. They have the ability to fetch score runs at a quick pace. In their match against KKR yesterday, RCB fell short after facing major batting collapse. However, it was a treat to watch Virat and Faf bat as they smashed ball around the park. In one such over, the duo smacked 23 runs.

Virat and Faf's brutal assault

In the second innings, RCB faced a tough challenge following Shardul Thakur's impressive batting performance for KKR, which helped them reach a total of 204 runs in 20 overs. However, RCB began their run chase with a bang as Kohli and Faf du Plessis, the opening pair, scored 23 runs off Tim Southee's second over, propelling RCB to a score of 42-0 in just four overs.

In his first over, Tim Southee gave just 2 runs. Thus, the captain called him back to bowl the fourth over of the innings. Virat Kohli first welcomed him with a massive boundary. Then, he took a single and gave the strike to Faf. The skipper did not hold back and smashed 6,4,0,6 in the next four balls. Southee ended up giving 23 runs in the over.

However, after the over, RCB faced a major batting collapse as they lost five wickets in just 20 runs more. Eventually, RCB was bundled out for 123 runs and KKR emerged victorious by a margin of whooping 81 runs, giving them first victory of the tournament.
