IPL Viral Video: On Thursday in Mohali, the Gujarat Titans secured a six-wicket triumph over the Punjab Kings thanks to an impressive performance by Mohit Sharma in his return to the IPL and a well-played 67 off 49 balls by Shubman Gill. Throughout his knock, Gill slammed seven boundaries and a six. A video of one of the boundaries has now gone viral on social media.

Shubman Gill's literal smash for boundary

Gujarat Titans won the toss and opted to field first in the clash. Their bowlers gave them an ideal total to chase as they restricted Punjab Kings to a score of 153/8 in 20 overs. Gujarat batters, in comparison, showed almost-ideal batting start and led their way to victory. Shubman Gill played a crucial and sensible knock guiding his team to victory.

At one point, GT required 34 runs in the final over. Sam Curran was asked to bowl the 17th over with the hopes of providing a breakthrough. He did a great job by giving just three singles in the first three balls. On the fourth ball, Sam threw a short-length ball, which went straight towards Shubman's head. However, he smashed it down right through the middle of the bat and it sailed completely straight for the boundary just over the bowler's head.

Shubman Gill scored a match-winning knock of 67 runs from 49 balls. This victory marked Gujarat's third win in four matches, marking a smooth campaign as they play it out as defending champions. Shubman has shown sublime from the beginning of the year and fans hope that he continues the same way for GT.
