IPL Viral Video: Suryakumar Yadav has announced his comeback in the form by striking fifties lately in last few games. Yesterday, MI chased down the target of 213 runs against Rajasthan Royals with three balls to spare. Before Tim David’s heroics of 45* in 14 balls, it was Suryakumar Yadav’s 55 off 29 balls that staged comeback in middle-order. During one over, he slammed 6,4,4,4 in one over.

Suryakumar Yadav slams 20 runs in one over

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s century of 124 runs in vain as MI managed to chase down the huge total. MI did not have an ideal start in the game as they lost captain Rohit Sharma cheaply. Suryakumar Yadav came to crease after Ishan Kishan’s wicket and started his inning with a six. By the end of 12th over, MI had scored 104/3 with SKY scoring 24 runs off 15 balls.

Big hits were needed at the time and Suryakumar decided to switch the momentum from just the next. Kuldeep Sen came to bowl the next over. On the first ball, he slammed a powerful six over the deep backwards square leg. On the next three balls, he hit consecutive three boundaries and got the scoreboard moving. The video of the over is now going viral over social media.

Suryakumar Yadav scored 55 runs off 29 balls, hitting 8 boundaries and two sixes. In the end, however, it was Tim David, who scored 45* in 14 balls. He slammed three sixes in the first three balls of the last over when 17 runs were required. It was also the biggest successful chase at Wankhede in the Indian Premier League.
