Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan can be seen once again showing his light on the field. According to the information, his name is also included in the list of 70 foreign all-rounders released for the T20 League in Sri Lanka. Irfan has also expressed his desire to play in this league and it is believed that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may also approve him.

Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has shown interest in playing in the proposed Lanka Premier League starting from the third week of next month. Generally, the BCCI does not allow any Indian player to play in foreign leagues, whether he is currently playing or has retired. In January this year, Irfan announced his retirement from international cricket.

Lanka Premier League has 5 franchise teams participating. Who will lead Colombo, Kendi, Gaul, Dambulla and Jaffna. If Pathan's name is not taken as the mercury player of any team, then he will be inserted in the draft. The owner and draft of the franchise have not been announced and will be placed before everyone soon. The Sri Lankan Cricket Board is awaiting the government's approval only after which the owners of the franchise will be decided.

Pathan's entry into the draft was a joke made by former Sri Lankan all-rounder and his friend Parvez Mahroof. Pathan had posted a video of his training on social media, on which Mahroof offered him the tournament. Pathan accepted it and agreed to join the draft.
