Ravindra Jadeja: For many years, Ravindra Jadeja has played a significant role in the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He has competed for India and in the Indian Premier League (IPL) while playing under MS Dhoni. At the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad’s championship game versus Hardik Pandya’s Gujarat Titans (GT), Jadeja played absolutely brilliantly on Monday, May 29.
CSK Clinches Fifth IPL Title, Dedicates Win to Captain MS Dhoni
With two balls remaining and CSK needing 10 runs to win, Jadeja smashed a six and a four off Mohit Sharma. The southpaw ensured that the Super Kings won by a margin of five wickets (DLS) and tied the Mumbai Indians (MI) for the most IPL championships with five. As CSK chased down a revised target of 171 runs off the final ball, Jadeja remained unbeaten on 156 runs off six balls. Jadeja posted a message on his Instagram account on May 30 commemorating the victory to captain MS Dhoni. Jadeja posted a pic with caption, “We did it for ONE and ONLY “MS DHONI. mahi bhai aapke liye toh kuch bhi.”

Jadeja praised Dhoni, 41, for his cameo performance against the Titans and for leading his team to their ninth T20 championship. Jadeja also discussed his strategy when facing Mohit’s slower deliveries; Mohit took three wickets for GT.
