Earlier, Jasprit Bumrah had conveyed the news of his and Sanjana’s wedding to the people by sharing a picture on social media on March 15. Bumrah had taken a break from cricket after the third Test match against England for his wedding and decided not to play in T20 and ODI series.
27-year-old Jasprit Bumrah has played 19 Tests, 67 ODIs and 50 T20 matches for India so far.
Bumrah will now be seen playing in the IPL after marriage. He will join his team Mumbai Indians at the end of March for the 14th season of IPL. It is expected that Bumrah will join the team’s camp from 26 to 28 March. This time Mumbai Indians have to play their first match on 9 April with Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Virat Kohli. The Mumbai team has so far won the IPL title under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy 5 times.
