Mistook Jordi Alba For Lionel Messi?
During the post-match celebration, Antonella Roccuzzo ran down the field with her kids to celebrate with her husband. She was looking for her husband to congratulate him on another sensational victory.
While searching for the talisman, she saw Jordi Alba and went on to hug him thinking he was Messi. Antonella approached him with her arms wide open but realized in the end that it was not her husband. The moment made for a hilarious yet very awkward moment.
A Miscommunication
To make everything clear, the video shared on the internet is without any context at the moment. It has been shared that Antonella mistook Alba for her husband but that might not be entirely true.
As Antonella and Alba have known each other for a very long time now, they are practically family. It is possible that Antonella went to hug the Spanish defender to congratulate him but Alba stopped that because of how sweaty he was.
It can be any of those scenarios but the pair laughed it off and went ahead on their business. Alba then went ahead and hugged both of Messi’s kids, Thiago and Mateo.
