New Cricket Academy at Ekana Stadium

The franchise intends to form a partnership with the established Ekana Sportz City’s Cricket Academy. According to a report, discussions between both the entities are progressing significantly. During the 2023 IPL season, the venue served as the host for LSG’s matches for the first time. This was a notable shift from the team’s inaugural season in 2022, when the tournament was restricted to Maharashtra.

Numerous franchises have established their academies worldwide, a trend that includes the inaugural champions, Rajasthan Royals (RR). These institutions allows franchise to explore the future prospects and build a strong foundation for cricket in the upcoming years.

The 2023 IPL season witnessed a varied journey for the Lucknow Super Giants. Despite facing the departure of KL Rahul during the midway point, they successfully secured a spot in the playoffs.
