Olympic double medallist Manu Bhaker was frustrated and furious over a round of questions by media and left an event in the middle.

Paris Olympic double medallist Manu Bhaker reportedly left an event in the middle in Chennai. The Indian shooting star was reportedly furious over the media houses and their questions.

Bhaker attended an event at Velammal Nexus School where the championship shooter was being felicitated. It was supposed to be a joyous occasion but turned into a nightmare for her.

Right after the Summer Games, two videos went viral on the Indian social media circle. The videos featured Neeraj Chopra talking to Manu and her mother and drove Indian fans into a frenzy.

Manu Bhaker And Rumors

Various rumors started floating around suggesting the two athletes be dating to form a super athlete couple. Manu's father Ram Kishan Bhaker clarified that there is nothing.

Even the shooter herself confirmed that it was a normal conversation and nothing was going on. She also expressed her desire to refrain from such questions in the future.

The Last Straw

According to reports, Manu hackled several questions from the media house but it got too much. A reporter asked about Vinesh Phogat and her CAS appeal getting rejected. The reporter stated, “Vinesh’s judgment was politically motivated. What’s your opinion?”

The question sent the double medallist into a frenzy and before she could answer another reporter popped up and asked Manu's mother, "What was your conversation with Neeraj (Chopra)?"

That was the last straw for Manu as she stood up and left the event with her mother. Indian media has previously been criticized for asking such questions as it makes the athlete uncomfortable and demean their sporting achievements.
