MI vs UPW WPL 2023: The formidable Mumbai Indians are currently taking on the UP Warriorz at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. Alyssa Healy won the toss and opted to field first in the highly anticipated encounter and restricting MI to a low score. However, coming to defend the total, MI once again showed why they are undefeated in the tournament so far. A video from the match has gone viral that shows skipper Harmanpreet Kaur take a mindblowing catch.
Harmanpreet Kaur pulls off a stunner
The batting unit of MI did not have a good day as they were bundled out for 127 runs in 20 overs. However, this did not let them lose all the hopes as they kept on fighting for momentum. UP Warriorz were able to score one run in the first over. For the second over, Hayley Matthews was called to strike an early breakthrough.
Then, just on the first ball, Devika Vaidya tried hitting the ball from middle of the bat but actually got edged. Harmanpreet Kaur showed her quick reflexes and dived to the right side and picked off a stunner. This eventually led the scoreboard to 1/1 in 1.1 overs. Mumbai Indians got the start the start they were anticipating for, all thanks to Harmanpreet Kaur’s superb dive.
