Misbah Ul Haq: On social media, a clip from a roundtable conversation featuring well-known Pakistani cricket players is going viral. Wasim Akram is seen in the video questioning Misbah-ul-Haq why the Pakistani cricket team isn’t experimenting with their shots. Misbah-ul-Haq responded with a humorous answer to this query.

“They stopped playing after I played that shot in the 2007 final,” Misbah-ul-Haq said of his historic T20 World Cup shot. Sreesanth caught his attempted scoop shot during the match with India, which helped the Indian cricket team win. Watch Video:

Wasim Akram spoke on how Pakistani cricketers at the time don’t experiment with their shots in his response. He stated, “I have never seen Pakistani players play the cheeky sweep or the reverse lap. I will be aware that Pakistan does not use unconventional shot-making techniques if I play against them. I’m not sure why they avoid using such shots.”

Misbah continued by saying that following his shot, the public had been critical of him. He expressed regret that nobody was aware of his prior accomplishments. “But no one recalls that,” he said, “I had hit 15 fours.”

The internet, however, was amused by this response and enjoyed his humor. In 2017, he announced his departure from all forms of international cricket. Check out how fans reacted to the video:
