Cricket experts believe that the board may be considering the name of Dhoni as a mentor for the T20 World Cup 2026.

It is believed that the BCCI wants to leverage the sharp cricketing brain of the former World Cup winning captain in the Indian dressing room.

It has been widely reported in the media circles that Gautam Gambhir, the present coach of the Indian cricket team, do not share good terms with Dhoni. However, the dynamics of the dressing room can change completely and for the better if Dhoni decides to join the team as a mentor.
