Neeraj Chopra: The record breaker of India has broken another record and etched his name in the historic books forever. As he reached the 88-meter mark with his second throw in the World Athletics Championship, he knew he was victorious.

He became the first Indian athlete to win at the Olympics, Asian Games, World Championship, and Diamond League. He also became the second Indian to hold Olympics and World Championship titles simultaneously.

It was a monumental moment that made Neeraj Chopra the most decorated athlete in India. But according to the man himself, he is far from over and has a lot to achieve. In his own words, the 90-meter mark is coming and we are ready for it.

The Historic Moment

Neeraj had an underwhelming first throw. His first throw did not even touch the 80-meter mark and only reached 79 meters. Even the star was not happy with the throw and intentionally crossed the foul line so that the throw wouldn't be registered.

The second throw was an important one and with the whole crowd on his side, he was back to his best. His trademark slow build-up run, a throw that left him off balance with a smile on his face. As if he knew that he had done it.

Neeraj Chopra turned his face towards the crowd and raised his hands in the trademark style. Keep in mind that the javelin was still in the air at that time. His confidence was enough to let us all know that the Gold was arriving.

Neeraj Chopra: A Humble Champion

In the post-event interview, Neeraj Chopra was as humble as he could have been. He stated that he is not the greatest athlete in our country and still has a lot to achieve. He further stated that the 90-meter mark is coming soon but he is not worried about that. For him winning the gold is far more important than the 90-meter mark.
