AB de Villers international cricket return: CSA director hopeful for ABD return in Windies series in June

Cricket South Africa has announced a strong squad for the West Indies tour in the month of June. The announcement was made on Tuesday, Proteas will play two Tests, and five T20Is in Caribbean Island.

Off-spiner Prenalan Subrayen has received his maiden call-up in the Test squad. Subrayen has consistently dominated in the domestic tournaments and will be handy to accompany Keshav Maharaj.

Lizaad Williams is included in the squad for the first time in the longest format after impressing the selectors in the white-ball formats against Pakistan in recently concluded series.

While the biggest setback for all the fans is that there will be no AB de Villers in the squad even after Graeme Smith (CSA) managing director had earlier hinted his comeback.

According to previous reports Chris Morris, Imran Tahir and Faf du Plessis will get their chances to impress the selector during the West Indies series but all the names are missing from the squad.
