OMA Vs NAM T20 World Cup 2024: We are just on the second day of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 and it has been an intense tournament so far. On Sunday, we saw West Indies almost getting knocked out by Papua New Guinea.

And on Monday morning we were treated to a super over spectacle between Oman and Namibia. It was a wonderful match that had everything you could have asked for in a match.

It was a sensational match that saw Oman coming back from a near-losing position. When everything was lost, 37-year-old Mehran Khan turned it around with his sensational spell.

While batting first, Oman was only able to make 109 runs before getting all out. Ruben Trumpelmann and David Wiese took 7 wickets between each other to completely break down Oman's batting.

It was an easy chase of Namibia and they were on the right track after 15 overs. But Oman kept bowling with discipline and completely stopped the run flow for Oman. And by the last over, Namibia needed 6 runs to secure the victory.

But the 37-year-old Mehran Khan turned it up in the last over and only gave 5 runs. There was an opportunity for a run that would have secured the victory for Oman, but the keeper missed the stumps.

David Wiese completely took over the super over. The former South African international set the world ablaze with both bat and ball in the super over. While batting first in the Super Over, Namibia scored 21 runs with Wiese scoring 13 in just 4 deliveries.

He was also the one bowling for Namibia in the Super Over and gave only 10 runs. He completely choked down Naseem Khushi and Zeeshan Maqsood. Only skipper Aqib Ilyas was able to hit a boundary against Wiese in the Super Over.
