PAK vs SL Asia Cup 2022: Babar Azam has taken his team to the final. They lost against Sri Lanka on Friday but still, Pakistan has already made it to the final without any difficulty. Babar Azam got angry with the umpire during the match on Friday. Actually, during the match, the umpire gave the DRS signal without asking him. After this, Babar Azam got angry with the umpire and commented accoedingly.

Sri Lanka’s bowlers emerged

The match played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was being seen as a dress-rehearsal. These two teams will also have to compete in the final of the Asia Cup. Brilliant bowling by Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana and Pramod Madushan stopped Pakistan to low score of just 121.

Chasing the target, Sri Lanka had a tough time as their top order Kusal Mendis, Danushka Gunathilaka, and Dhananjaya de Silva were out for 0, 0, and 5. However, Pathum Nissanka played a scintillating 55 to get Sri Lanka back in the match. The team got a resounding victory. As Pakistan was moving towards defeat, Babar Azam’s was seen displeased. In the 16th over, the Pakistani captain was angry when the umpire gave the DRS signal without the appeal of captain.

Pakistan’s wicket-keeper Muhammad Rizwan appealed for a caught behind. The umpire said not out but Babar saw that he was going on stairs without asking the captain. Babar went to the umpire and said, “Mein Kaptaan Hu”. Pakistan lost the review as there was no contact between bat and ball. Sri Lanka won the match by 5 wickets but Pakistan would definitely hope to avenge this loss to Sri Lanka in the final match on Sunday.
