PAK Vs USA ICC T20 World Cup 2024: We are just a week in the T20 World Cup and we are already getting some blinders for catches. On Wednesday, Axar Patel took a sensational catch and now Steven Taylor has made that catch look like a child's play.

Every T20 World Cup we have seen a sensational catch by a player from the associate nation. And Steven Taylor made sure to not break that culture as he took a blinder of a catch-on slip position to dismiss Mohammad Rizwan.

Slip is considered to be one of the most difficult fielding positions. The distance from the batsman and the reaction time is so low, that it makes even a simple catch harder than usual.

A Blinder By Steven Taylor

The moment came in the second over when Mohammad Rizwan was facing Saurabh Netravalkar. Saurabh is of Indian origin and was extra motivated to play against Pakistan.

On his second delivery, he bowled a perfect outswinger that took an outside edge of Rizwan. The ball went at a considerate speed towards the first slip where Steven Taylor was positioned.

Taylor dived to his left and was flying for a second there. He had to do a full stretch to take the catch. It might be the catch of the tournament and it left Mohammad Rizwan completely speechless.

The USA team has turned the tides around against Pakistan. The USA skipper Monank Patel was confident ahead of the match and it looks like his confidence was not wrong.

By the end of the Powerplay, Pakistan had lost 3 of their top-order batsmen. Shadab Khan tried to regroup the innings but was bowled out before the team could reach 100. Babar Azam on the other hand is struggling massively and Azam Khan was dismissed on the first delivery he faced.
