Pakistan vs England, 2nd Test: England win another series in ‘Bazball’ style, defeat Pakistan in Multan

Pakistan vs England: England secured a historic series win over Pakistan at Multan Cricket Stadium as they lead the three-match Test series 2-0. Touring Pakistan first time in 17 years, England delivered a blistering performance in both games specially with the bat. English batters batted with a superb strike rate in all four innings they played so far in both Tests.

The second Test match was a bit closer Brendon McCullum’s style of cricket has definitely created some sort of fear in the Pakistan camp. The Babar Azam-led side looked quite off with the body language during the entire second Test.

Pakistan were given to chase down 357 runs in the fourth innings which looked tough on the Day 5 pitch. England bundled Pakistan at 328 with Mark Wood picking four wickets.

“I tried to learn from my mistake in the first innings. I wanted to put the pressure on the spinners and it worked. We knew before coming into the game that it is going to be a turner, they have been asking for it and there was a lot of talk in the dressing room as well, so wasn’t surprised. We just tried to go out there and play our band of cricket, happy that it came off,” said player of the match and England batter Hary Brook who scored a hundred in the second innings.

Post win, the English team is being praised a lot because of its performance in the second Test.
