Pakistani Cricket Team receives warm welcome as they land in India after 7 long years; players overwhelmed

Pakistan captain Babar Azam was "overwhelmed" by the affection and support shown to him and his team members after their arrival in India. The Men in Green arrived in India on September 28 to compete in the World Cup 2023, which will be hosted in India from October 5 to November 19. Babar and his crew landed in Hyderabad under strong airport security. The supporters were also overjoyed to watch the Pakistan cricket team on the Indian shores after long years. The Cricket Team shared a video of the team arriving in India and enjoying their time.

Pakistan cricket team has shared a video on its YouTube channel in which the Pakistani team is seen coming out of Hyderabad airport. Seeing him, there was a wave of happiness in the fence and they started shouting slogans of ‘Pakistan will win’. It can be seen in the video that the airport is packed to welcome the Pakistani team and everyone is recording the arrival of the Pakistani cricket team on their phones.

The video also shows how the Pakistani team got a wonderful welcome in the hotel and the happiness on their faces is a testimony to this. Pakistani captain Babar Azam looks very happy after seeing all this and to express this happiness, he also uploaded a story on Instagram.

Pakistani players laud India for the welcome

Earlier in the day, Shaheen Shah Afridi praised the Indians for their welcoming attitude toward Pakistani cricketers. Before leaving for India, Babar addressed a news conference. During a press conference, Pakistan's captain stated that his team's goal in India is to win the title rather than finish in the top two.
