Paris Olympics 2024: The friendship between Arshad Nadeem and Neeraj Chopra has won hearts all over the world. These two have got above the rivalry between nations and showed everyone the true meaning of sportsmanship.

The friendship got even stronger when both athletes’ mothers gave heartfelt interviews after the final. Both Neeraj and Arshad’s mother called the rivals their son only and won the internet immediately.

The Indian athlete opened up about her mother’s comment and what he thinks about it. We know that Neeraj and Arshad are good friends and their rivalry is purely professional and outside the court, both of them support each other.

‘Speaks From The Heart’

Neeraj stated that his mother speaks from the heart and is not influenced by political relationships. He further said that his mother had pure intentions and people can have different opinions about it.

The 2021 Olympic gold medalist stated “She lives in a village, a background where she is not influenced by news on social media and television, about the relations between India and Pakistan. She has the feeling of a mother. She speaks simply and speaks her heart.

She speaks from the heart of a mother. Some people might have found it strange, some people might have liked it.” It is so good to see two South-Asian rivals going above national politics and winning everyone’s hearts with their sporting talent.
