Paris Saint-German won their 13th French Cup

Neymar scored the winning goal in the finals of the French Cup, where Paris Saint-German won the title. The win against Saint-Etienne 1-0 is now the most remarkable title win in French Cup. However, coach Thomas Tuchel faced an anxious wait for the complete fitness of Kylian Mbappe ahead of next month’s Champions League quarter-final against Atlanta.

The French star was later seen emerging from the tunnel on the crutches following a dreadful challenge which resulted in the dismissal of Saint-Etienne captain Loic Perrin.

“Everyone is worried. Everyone who saw the foul is worried. Of course, I’m worried, but at the same time, I’m happy as well.  I’m very happy because we won but we have to stay patient because we don’t have any news. I think he will undergo tests tonight,” said the coach Tuchel.

PSG dominance in the tournament

PSG won the first of a potential three trophies this summer, they claimed 13^th French Cup with League Cup final against Lyon to come next Friday before the resumption of their European campaign in Portugal.

"It was very difficult, which is perhaps the best thing," added Tuchel whose side won their League 1 title awarded in April after the season was ended.

France forward left the pitch in tears and later returned to the dugout on crutches. He will be a serious doubt for PSG's Champions League quarter-final with Atalanta in August.
