Heading into the match against Delhi Capitals, Virat Kohli’s impressive run tally in the Indian Premier League amounted to 6988 runs in 233 IPL matches, boasting an average of 36.61. Notably, Kohli has exhibited exceptional batting prowess in IPL 2023, accumulating a remarkable total of 376 runs in just 9 matches.
In the list of the highest run-scorers in IPL history stands Kohli, leading the pack with an impressive tally of 7000* runs now. Trailing closely behind is Shikhar Dhawan, who has accumulated a notable 6536 runs. Notably, only four players have managed to breach the 6000-run mark in the tournament. In the ongoing 2023 edition of IPL, Kohli continues to showcase his prowess with the highest individual score of 82 and an impressive count of five half-centuries. Prior to this match, Kohli had 366 runs on his name in 9 matches.
