Siraj and Dinesh collide for catch

Starting in the innings, MI did not have a great start as they managed to score just 17 runs in four overs with a loss of two wickets. However, in the fifth over, which was bowled by Mohammed Siraj a bizarre moment occurred on the field as the home team tried to dismiss the Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma.

Actually, Rohit Sharma had batted for seven balls and scored just 1 run. Then, on the fifth ball of the over, the skipper tried to hit the pull shot but failed in connecting the ball. In a moment, both wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik and bowler Siraj ran to catch it. They both continued to look at the ball in the sky and collided with each other, giving Rohit a lifeline. However, it appeared that Siraj also got injured in the process as he kept lying on the ground for a few minutes.

Virat’s reaction to the incident has also gone viral on social media. However, Rohit Sharma (1 off 10) was later dismissed in the next over itself after being caught out by Dinesh Karthik in Akash Deep’s over.
