Rinku Singh: India’s power hitter and star batsman Rinku Singh is into legal troubles after an FIR has been filed against him for sharing a doctored AI video showing Indian gods driving and sitting in a car.
Karni Sena, a Rajput community organization, has filed a police complaint against the batsman at an Aligarh police station.
In the shared video on Facebook, Rinku can be seen hitting cricket shots on the field. The post’s caption reads, “Who made you a cricketer?” In the next footage, Lord Hanuman can be seen driving a Thar car with Lord Shiva, Vishnu and Ganesha as the co-passengers. All the Gods can be seen wearing black glasses with English songs being played in the background.

Karni Sena District President Sumit Tomar and some workers reached Aligarh’s Sasni Gate Police Station to register an FIR against the Indian batsman Tomar remarked Rinku has demonstrated his ‘jihadi’ mentality just like Shah Rukh Khan. Interestingly, Rinku is a part of Kolkata Knight Riders that is co-owned by the Bollywood star. Tomar added Rinku should publicly apologize with folded hands to Sanatan Dharma. The Karni Sena District President added his organization would take to the streets if no action gets taken against the Indian batsman.
Sasni Gate Police Station In-charge remarked the matter would be investigated by the authorities. It was added that legal action would be taken only after the video’s authenticity is verified and the person who posted it gets investigated.

Many people have remarked that Rinku Singh did not wanted to hurt anyone’s sentiments and his intentions were good. However, many called the act of Rinku as an act tampering with Hindu’s religious sentiments.
Rinku Singh’s Engagement To SP MP Priya Saroj
Recently, Rinku got engaged to Samajwadi MP Priya Saroj on June 8 in Lucknow. The engagement ceremony was attended by SP Supremo Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Iqra Hasan, Shivpal Yadav and Jaya Bachchan. The wedding that was originally scheduled for November 18 last year in Kashi was postponed to February 2026 but no new date has been fixed yet.
Toofani Saroj, the MLA father of Priya, had remarked that the postponement happened because of the engagement of Rinku in domestic cricket. Until February 2026, Rinku would be occupied for the state team of Uttar Pradesh.
