Rishabh Pant: After almost a year on the sidelines, Indian wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant returned on Wednesday in a local match. The video went viral, showcasing Rishabh Pant playing with a positive attitude.

The left-handed batsman is recovering at National Cricket Academy(NCA) and is slated for a return by the end of the year. Hence, the practice match was a very positive step in that phase. Fans are excited about his return.

Many fans and experts worried about how long it would take for Rishabh to get back in form. After all, he has not played cricket in over a year. But, the way Pant was playing, it never looked like there was any rust in his batting.

An Effortless Six

The ability to hit six is natural. Very few players can do it as effortlessly as Rishabh Pant. Pant can do it all if it is stepping out of the crease or hitting it without moving. And it was visible in the practice match as well.

When Rishabh Pant hit a loose ball for a six over the mid-wicket without even needing to move his legs, we knew the time for return was near. It will take time for him to get back to full fitness, but this is a positive sign.

More time will be needed to return to his old form, where he can move his legs according to the ball. But it will come with time, and as of now, the return timeline for Rishabh Pant, considered December or January against England, is looking realistic.
