Rishabh Pant Progressing Well! Wicket-Keeper Eyes Border-Gavaskar Trophy

Rishabh Pant In Rehab: Rishabh Pant is all set to return to the Indian Cricket Team as soon as possible. He is one of the heroes India missed severely in the latest World Test Championship Final 2023.

The blistering Wicket-Keeper batsman was involved in a horrific car accident last year when he went to Roorkee from Delhi. But with each passing day, his return is getting closer, and it is imminent that he will be back with a bang.

‘Simple Things Can Be Difficult’

Rishabh Pant shared a video on his Twitter account where he can be seen climbing up the stairs without any support. The video showcases the same scenario at different points in time. Pant captioned the video as ‘Simple Things Can be Difficult Sometimes.’

The video showcased Pant at the earlier stages of his rehab when he was struggling massively to climb the stairs. While the second half of the video showcased him climbing the stairs relatively easily as compared to before.

Rishabh Pant Welcomes KL Rahul to NCA

Earlier today, KL Rahul also posted a video of his recovery on Instagram. KL Rahul is also going under rehab at NCA, Bangalore, alongside Rishabh Pant and Prasidh Krishna. At the end of the video posted by KL Rahul, we can see him conversing with both of his teammates.

Pant responded to the video with the comment ‘Welcome Brother,’ and after that, the pair got into a friendly banter over the post. The video by KL Rahul ensured that he is also in fast recovery mode and will be back in the blue color sooner rather than later.

Pant Eyeing Border Gavaskar Trophy Return

After missing WTC 2023 final, Rishabh Pant is all set to return for the Border Gavaskar Trophy in 2024-25. The series will be the last series for WTC 2023-25 cycle and will be crucial series in deciding the finalists.

Rishabh Pant made his name as a hero in the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2020-21. Where his heroics led India to the famous win in Gabba, it will be a fairytale if Pant return at the time of BGT 2024-25. A fairytale that every Indian fan desires.
