Shahid Afridi: Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi recently fulfilled a fan's wish by giving his autograph on a fan's request on the Indian flag during the thrilling season of the Legends League Cricket. Legendary all-rounder Afridi, one of the best Pakistani cricketers of his time, is captaining the Asia Lions team in the Qatar-hosted 2023 season of the Legends League Cricket.

Shahid Afridi's heartwarming gesture

Afridi was approached by a fan who wanted him to autograph on the tricolour during the T20 event in Qatar. In response to the fan's request, Afridi thanked him and signed the Indian flag for him. The video of the heartwarming interaction quickly went viral among the game's fans and followers on social media.

Netizens and cricket fans took to social media to praise the Pakistani legend. A netizen wrote, "This is what we call Grace, he is promoting world peace, so proud of him." Another one wrote, "Lalaji proving why he is actually the best and respects the game and both the countries." A third fan wrote, "He is really trying to do his level best."

The Asia Lions team headed by Afridi defeated the Gautam Gambhir-captained India Maharajas in the Elimination at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium. Now, the Legends League Cricket final between Afridi's Asia Lions and the World Giants will take place on Monday at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Qatar.
