Shakib Al Hasan: Zimbabwe vs. Bangladesh’s T20 World Cup Super 12 encounter was a game to remember due to it’s plenty of high drama. Bangladesh defeated the opposition by three runs, but not before the match’s final over featured some really intense situation. Zimbabwe required five runs to win on the game’s penultimate delivery, but Blessing Muzarabani was unable to make contact with the bat, and it appeared like Bangladesh had secured a four-run victory.

Replays revealed that the wicketkeeper Nurul Hassan collected the ball in front of the stumps while inflicting stumping, hence it was ruled a no-ball even though the players had shaken hands and some were even back in the dugout.

Muzarabani failed to make contact with the bat once more as the final ball approached, leaving four runs still needed, and Bangladesh completed a historic three-run victory. The game’s biggest turning point, though, occurred in the 19th over when Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan struck Sean Williams with a direct shot, sending him back to the pavilion.

Tossing the stumps down at the non-end, striker’s Shakib crossed over to his right, dove, and spun around. After reaching 64 runs, Williams left the game after being discovered way outside of his crease.
