Shreyas Iyer: Star player Shreyas Iyer is one of several cricketers who made significant real estate investments. Six months before the 13th season of the IPL, Iyer, who made a total of INR 28.8 crore from his first six IPL seasons between IPL 2015 and IPL 2020, purchased an opulent real estate for INR 11.85 crore.

Initially acquired by Delhi Daredevils (now Capitals) in 2015, Iyer fetched a notable sum of INR 2.6 crore, despite originally listing a base price of just INR 10 lakh. While both Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians expressed interest in acquiring him, it was Delhi that emerged victorious in the competitive bidding process.
Given the predominantly high cost of apartments in India’s financial hub, Iyer made a substantial investment of INR 11.85 crore in a 2,618 sq ft residence situated in Lodha World Crest, Lower Parel. Notably, he also incurred a stamp duty of INR 24.7 lakh for this opulent location within Mumbai.
Iyer and his family reside in a 4-BHK apartment, which he has showcased on his social media profiles. His dwelling boasts several noteworthy elements, including a personal library where he is often spotted engrossed in reading. Furthermore, one of the balconies offers a magnificent view of Mumbai’s skyline.
Regarding the additional facilities provided by the Lodha World Crest, it encompasses a private cinema with seating for 40 individuals, a pool with controlled temperature, a well-equipped gym, a spa, a banquet hall, and an impressive dancing fountain.
Furthermore, it’s important to highlight that the ex-captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli, also calls Lodha World Crest his home. Iyer and Kohli’s proximity as neighbours came to public attention during the COVID-19 lockdown when they were photographed sharing home-cooked meals. This marked the first time the two were seen together as neighbours.
