Sourav Ganguly: Former captain of India and one of the best cricketers in history, Sourav Ganguly, sparked excitement among his followers when he posted a mysterious tweet that seemed to hint towards a possible comeback to the game. Many have also specualted that his biopic could be releasing soon. Although Ganguly stated that something is coming soon, he did not provide any details regarding his next project.

Sourav Ganguly shares a cryptic video

In a little preview, Ganguly shared a video of him holding his bat and hitting some classic hits. At the end of the video, “Coming Soon” was inscribed in the video. Several fans have suggested that his biopic could be announced soon. During the two-year term from November 2019 to October 2022, Ganguly presided over the organisation that governs Indian cricket.

The video is being rapidly shared by the fans of Dada. Nothing about the information and context is known as of yet. There were already many speculations about his career after his presidential career at the BCCI got over. Many expected that he would continue to play the role of an adminstrator at Bengal Cricket.

Sourav Ganguly’s presidential career at BCCI

After the BCCI elections earlier this year, he was succeeded as the organization’s chief executive by former Indian fast bowler and 1983 World Cup champion Roger Binny.The COVID-19 pandemic caused a difficult time for the BCCI during Ganguly’s leadership. Due to the virus, India was unable to host the Indian Premier League (IPL) for two seasons. This was accomplished by the Ganguly-led administration. Both years will have domestic white-ball cricket, and the Ranji Trophy will return in 2022 thanks to their efforts.

However, Ganguly’s administration was not without controversy, particularly the sacking of Virat Kohli as ODI captain, which received harsh criticism.

The Indian national team was led by Ganguly for five years during which time they shared the 2002 Champions Trophy and advanced to the 2003 Cricket World Cup final. Ganguly played in a total of 113 Test matches and 311 ODIs for India.
