Sourav Ganguly hospitalised after suffering ‘mild cardiac arrest’

The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) president and former India Cricket Team Captain Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to Woodlands hospital in Kolkata after suffering a ‘mild cardiac arrest’. According to various media reports, the cricketer felt uneasy while exercising at his personal gymnasium in the morning and was rushed to a hospital subsequently.

BCCI secretary and Ganguly’s close friend, Jay Shah took to Twitter to share update regarding cricketer’s health. “I wish and pray for the speedy recovery of @SGanguly99. I’ve spoken to his family. Dada is stable and is responding well to the treatment,” Shah tweeted.

According to Woodlands press bulletin, the cricketer is doing fine and will stay in the hospital for the next 48-hour.
