Sourav Ganguly makes a significant statement about Virat Kohli prior to the Australia series, Know here

Virat Kohli: In the early months of 2022, when Virat Kohli was having trouble, the former India captain Sourav Ganguly said something very interesting. Ganguly then stated that Kohli would be required to score runs on his own. I have no idea what happened to Kohli following Ganguly’s claim that runs began flowing from his bat. With an undefeated 122 against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022, he put an end to his century drought and hasn’t looked back since.

Ganguly has made another statement about Virat

While Kohli excelled in ODI and T20 cricket, he has yet to see the rain of runs fall from his bat in Test cricket. In the days leading up to the start of the four-match Border-Gavaskar Test series between India and Australia, Ganguly has made yet another statement about Virat that has generated a lot of debate. The former India captain is anticipated to significantly improve in the series of Tests starting on February 9 in Nagpur if the prediction turns out to be accurate.

Kohli needs to improve in Test cricket-Ganguly

“Yeah, absolutely. He has batted really well. Against Sri Lanka, against Bangladesh, he played well. However, he needs to improve in Test cricket because India is heavily dependent on him,” Ganguly said. “And there is a very important series coming up against Australia which I think will be a great contest. Both are very good teams and it is quite possible that these two teams play the World Test Championship final,” he added.
