Suryakumar Yadav praises PM Narendra Modi for motivating the team after the World Cup Final loss: ‘Bahaut Badi Baat Hai’

Suryakumar thanked fans for their constant support throughout the World Cup and he said that we all are disappointed but at the end of the day it's just a game.

Indian Cricket Team lost the World Cup 2023 Final against Australia and it made everyone sad. The whole country was in shock because the Indian team had been the best throughout the tournament and they had the advantage of hosting the World Cup at home. After their defeat in the final match, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to the dressing room of Team India and motivated the team players. Now, Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of India in the T20I series, praised him in the latest video. He said that this was a big thing for the entire team members that PM Modi praised them.

Suryakumar Yadav’s video was shared by news agency ANI on their Twitter (now known as X) account and it went viral. In the video, Suryakumar said in Hindi, “As you all know, it has been 4-5 days since the World Cup finished. We are all disappointed. It felt really good seeing the support of our fans in India and across the world. I would like to say that this is a sport and it teaches us a lot. Right after the end of the game, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi met all of us in the dressing room and motivated us.”

He called it ‘Bahaut Badi Baat’ in the video and promised all fans that they will try hard in the next ICC tournament which is going to be in 2024 and it is the T20 World Cup. The World Cup is scheduled for June and July 2024.

The T20 series against Australia has been started against Australia and the young team India, led by Suryakumar Yadav, won the first match and created history. They reached the target of 209 runs with the loss of 8 wickets and won the match by 2 wickets.
