T20 World Cup 2022: Five young guns ready to impact the T20 World CupThe T20 World Cup 2022 is about to start from October 16 in Australia and many young players have proved themselves throughout the Asia Cup 2022 and after that as well. ICC has shortlisted five young players who have played amazingly in their start. We take a look at five young talents that could make an impressive impact at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.

Arshdeep Singh

Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the tournament due to back injury, Arshdeep Singh becomes an important part of India’s plans for the T20 World Cup.  The 23-year-old left-arm stormed into the Indian squad on the back of IPL and he impressed throughout this year with his good bowling skills during the Powerplay and death overs.

His death bowling performances have attracted attention of selectors and viewers but Arshdeep managed to take wickets with new ball, he took two wickets in his first T20I against South Africa.

Vriitya Aravind (UAE)

UAE’s wicketkeeper-batsman Aravind topped the run charts at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier A with 267 runs in five innings with an average of 89 and he made an impressive strike rate of 154.3. The 20-year-old India-born Aravinf is an emerging star to watch in T20 World Cup 2022.

Fazalhaq Farooqi (Afghanistan)

The 22-year-old Fazalhaq Farooqi is Afghanistan’s leading wicket-taker in t20I cricket this year. He has been taken 17 wickets with an average of 19.35 and an impressive economy rate, 6.83. Recently, he put in a good performance at Asia Cup 2022.

Tristan Stubbs (South Africa)

South Africa’s young hard-hitting finisher of South Africa. He has only played eight T20is till now but he is already amonst the most feared crickets in the white ball cricket. Tristan has a strike rate of 212.5 in his T20I career and he became a feranchise cricket favorite. He made an impressive knock of 72 off 28 balls against England.

Naseem Shah (Pakistan)

19-year-old Naseem Shah has filled all the sadness left by Shahin Afridi’s injury. Recently, he is putting putting impressive bowling spells in the Powerplay. Notably, he also led Pakistan to the final of  the recent Asia Cup 2022. He also showcased his batting skills with two massive sixes in the final over against Afghanistan.
