T20 World Cup: Versatility will make it easier for Team India

T20 World Cup: Winning three matches back-to-back since the rehearsal in Mohali last month is certainly helping the men in blue in their preparation for the T20 World Cup. Ahead of the grand event, these remaining T20Is against South Africa are the two final competitive appearances for the Skipper Rohit Sharma and his teammates.

Their focus would be on winning the remaining matches and trying to iron out the flaws, threatened to hurt the side. Jasprit Bumrah’s back injury ruled him out of the ongoing series and it’s still persisting doubts over his participation in the showpiece event in Australia may affect the plans and mindset.

Indian bowlers should be concentrating on accomplishing the task ahead of them without waiting for availability of Bumrah. Although, India aren’t a one-man army bowling wise as Arshdeep Singh has proved he’s capable enough to deliver at the highest level. In the remainder of this series, India shouldn’t be missing Bumrah as the South African isn’t more dangerous against the moving ball.

The management of Indian team had come under some criticism for tendancy to experiment a little much, which it did during Asia Cup. That experimentation hasn’t been  on the point since the Australia T20Is, though “versatility and flexibility” in the squad of team India matters a lot for Rahul Dravid.
