The remaining matches of IPL 2021 will be played in the UAE from September 19, while its final will be held on October 15. On Monday, a BCCI official gave this information to the news agency ANI. The official said that there was a good discussion between BCCI and Emirates Cricket Board regarding the conduct of the tournament. The Indian board is confident that the remaining 31 matches of the IPL will be played in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.

Talking to news agency ANI, a BCCI official has clarified that BCCI was looking for a window of 25 days for the remaining matches of the IPL. He said that the talks between the BCCI officials and the UAE officials were good. Along with this, he also revealed that the first match will be played on 19 September, while the final match will be on 15 October, this day is also the festival of Dusshera.

The official also said that the remaining 31 matches of the IPL will be played in three UAE stadiums – Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. Also told that the BCCI is in talks with the rest of the cricket board regarding the foreign players to play in the remaining matches of the IPL and it will be resolved soon.

IPL 2021 being conducted in India was stopped midway due to Corona virus. When the 29 matches of IPL had been completed, only then some players got corona infected and after that it was suspended on 4 May. After this the suspense was made that when will the remaining matches of IPL take place.

The BCCI AGM was held on 29 May, after which it was told that the remaining season of the IPL would be held in the UAE from September to October, but the date was not announced. Now the dates have also come out. The detailed schedule is also likely to be revealed soon, after which it will be known between which two teams the first match will be held.
