Japan's Olympic Minister Seiko Hashimoto believes that the postponed Tokyo Olympics should be held at any cost next year.
According to the Japan Times report, Hashimoto said at the press conference, "All the people associated with the tournament are working together to get prepared for it. Athletes are also making a lot of effort by keeping the next year in their minds.
The Olympic Minister of Japan said, 'I think we have to organize the Olympic Games at any cost next. I want to focus my efforts on all measures taken against the Coronavirus."
Hashimoto's statement comes after a statement by International Olympic Committee (IOC) Vice President John Coats, in which he recently said that the Olympic Games will be held next year whether the COVID-19 remains or not.
