U19 Women's World Cup 2023: In the Under-19 Women's World Cup 2023 semi-final match played today between India and New Zealand, the Indian women defeated the Kiwi women's team by 8 wickets and advanced to the championship game. I've ensured The Kiwi team managed to score 107/9 runs in their 20 overs during the semi-final game, which Team India won the toss for and elected to bowl first. Team India batted brilliantly and won the match by 8 wickets.

Excellent performance by the bowlers

After choosing to bowl first after winning the toss, the Indian women's team bowled masterfully to hold the Kiwi women's team to 107 runs. For the Indian women's team, spinner Parshvi Chopra bowled superbly, taking 3 wickets for just 20 runs in her 4 overs. Shafali Verma, the captain, bowled extremely economically at the same time, taking one wicket in four overs for just seven runs.

In response, Indian women's team captain Shafali Verma was out for just 10 runs. However, a strong partnership between Shweta Sehrawat and Saumya Tiwari helped Team India win the match by 8 wickets. In the semi-final game, Shweta Sehrawat scored a brilliant half-century and significantly aided India's victory.
