Urfi Javed: Internet sensation takes a hard jab at Hockey star Yuvraj Walmiki, the player trolled her for Dubai arrest rumours

Urfi Javed, a social media celebrity and star of "Bigg Boss OTT," recently made headlines after internet rumours about her detention in Dubai for wearing "revealing attire" went viral. She even uploaded a false video from behind bars ridiculing netizens for spreading and celebrating the news of her detention, but she later confirmed that Dubai police did not jail her.

Her video was also uploaded by a paparazzi account, and while Urfi's supporters praised her for mocking her, Indian hockey player Yuvraj Walmiki also left a remark on the post, which angered the actress.

Yuvraj wrote, “Thank you Dubai. Please keep her forever. Kind regards.” Urfi didn't waste any time responding to Walmiki's remark, saying, "Got so many trouble with my cloths yet still be in dms!" Urfi is known for not ignoring a jibe and flaks. Her supporters gave Urfi praise while also criticising Walkmiki for his remark.

Was Urfi Javed really detained in Dubai

It all began when word spread that Urfi had been arrested in Dubai for reportedly shooting in the open while wearing revealing clothes. The actress then stated that she was not imprisoned and that the local police were called to the shooting location as a result of some team confusion.

In an official statement, Urfi said "The police had arrived to stop the shoot because of some issues at the location. There was a time till when we were allowed to shoot as it was a public place, the production team didn't extend the timing , hence we had to leave. It had nothing to do with my clothes at all. We shot the remaining part the next day so it was all sorted.”

After taking part in Karan Johar's "Bigg Boss OTT," Urfi became a household name. She is currently a participant on Splitsvilla 14, a reality competition. Along with that, she has appeared in a number of television programmes, including "Bade Bhaiyya Ki Dulhania," "Chandra Nandini," "Meri Durga," "Bepannaah," "Jiji Maa," "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai," "Kasautii Zindagii Kay," and others.
