Viral IPL Video: Indian Premier League has given several match-winners to the country. Out of everyone, Hardik Pandya has been one of the most valuable finds as well. He has now become the captain of Men in Blue in the shortest format of the game and IPL franchise Gujarat Titans as well. He also led Gujarat Titans in their first ever season and even won the tournament. However, his journey started with IPL and is filled with several heroic knocks. In 2019, he proved this yet again as he smashed a quick-fire 34 ball 91 against KKR, leaving everyone in his awe.
Hardik Pandya’s monstrous knock
In the match, the Kolkata Knight Riders had set a target of 233 runs for Mumbai Indians to chase. When Mumbai Indians were struggling to reach the target, Hardik Pandya came in to bat and joined Kieron Pollard. Despite the high run rate required to win the match, Hardik Pandya showed his batting skills and hit the ball with incredible power, scoring many runs and leading Mumbai Indians to an impressive victory.
He achieved his half-century in just 17 balls, but his teammates kept getting out at the other end. Despite this, Pandya continued to play aggressively and gave Mumbai Indians a chance to win the match. However, his innings came to an end when he misjudged a shot and got out. Pandya scored 91 runs off just 34 balls, which included six fours and nine sixes, with an incredible strike rate of 267.64. This innings remains the highest score of Pandya’s IPL career so far.

Hardik Pandya has now become a captain in IPL, leading Gujarat Titans. The team was introduced just last year and also won the iconic trophy in just their first season. With the new season just upon us, he will be looking to replicate his performance.
