Viral Video: MS Dhoni Protects Fan From Security Guards After He Invades Pitch, Watch

Viral Video: Whenever MS Dhoni comes up to bat in IPL 2024 it is like a festival. The whole stadium becomes a cult that just wants to see their favorite captain batting like he is in his prime.

With everything indicating that it is his last season, fans are even more desperate to see their idol one last time. They just want to embrace the person who gave them so much to cherish over the years.

A similar thing happened on Friday when CSK faced GT in Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While CSK lost, the fans were able to see their idol in full force as he turned back the clock.

Viral Video: Security Breached

The incident happened in the last over when Dhoni had already hit 2 sixes off Rashid Khan and was looking hungry for more. A fan invaded the pitch to try and get close to MS Dhoni and embrace him.

At first, Dhoni acted like he was running away from the fan but stopped and the fan bowed down to touch his feet. Mahi got him up hugged him and started saying something to him. Probably advising him to not invade the pitch.

Dhoni later protected the fan from the security and asked them to go easy on the fan. It is this kind of love and empathy by Mahi that has made him one of the most lovable person in the country.

Rashid Khan In Awe

While the pitch invasion was happening, the camera cut to Rashid Khan who was in awe of the incident. Later Rashid talked in the post-match interview about how lucky he is to be playing in the same league as Dhoni.

Rashid Khan said, "MS Dhoni gets a different kind of love from the crowd. I'm very lucky to be playing at the same age as him, he's a legend".
