Virat Kohli: The T20 World Cup 2022 has seen Virat Kohli in outstanding form. Against Pakistan and the Netherlands, he scored back-to-back half century, and Team India triumphed both times. India defeated Netherlands on Thursday by a score of 56 runs thanks in large part to the 33-year-old’s undefeated 62 runs off 44 balls. In just two games so far in the tournament, he has scored 144 runs.

Kohli surpassed West Indies legend Chris Gayle in the T20 World Cup run scoring standings with his explosive performance against the European nation. Just 28 runs separate the right-handed batsman from Mahela Jayawardene of Sri Lanka, who holds the record, having scored 989 runs in 23 games.
